  Native Americans

  Native Americans are so badly treated it is appaling. We need to disolve the Bureau of Indian Affairs, close all the Reservations, give each Native American full citizenship rights and provide assistance to them to assimilate in a world outside the Reservation. Too much money is being spend on Indian affairs and the Native Americans themselves are not seeing it. They have substandard education, no employment, high ...more »

  Native Americans are so badly treated it is appaling. Too much money is being spend on Indian affairs and the Native Americans themselves are not seeing it. They have substandard education, no employment, high crime rates on the Reservations and little hope of ever becoming independant. How can we treat them so very badly, while we roll out the red carpet to illegals and Muslim terrorists?

  Oil & Mining

  We must stop relying on foreign oil. The adinistration should allow offshore drilling. We must convert to more green enegy sources, but the length of time required to do that will put us even more dependant on foreign oil. We should drill as much as possible and mine coal. Not instead of green energy but to make us independant of foreign oil while we are going green.

  Overpopulation

  America is becoming overcrowded with large famalies who live on welfare to support themselves. We should adopt a restriction on the number of children a couple can have to two, which is replacement for themselves. By conbtrolling population growth we make certain that the Social Security System is not overburdened, that couples can afford to take care of their children monitarily and provide a good quality of life for ...more »

  America is becoming overcrowded with large famalies who live on welfare to support themselves. We should adopt a restriction on the number of children a couple can have to two, which is replacement for themselves. By conbtrolling population growth we make certain that the Social Security System is not overburdened, that couples can afford to take care of their children monitarily and provide a good quality of life for them. Our schools will not be overcrowded and teachers will be able to actually teach rather than simply keeping the students in one room until the next class. We will be able to afford to raise the standards for education and become competitive with other countries whose children are actually expected to learn and become productive citizens. If we don't upgrade our education system we will never be able to compete with the rest of the world.

  Religion

  This country was founded by Christian people and settled by both Christians and Jews, who have many similarities in their faith. In God we Trust is on our money NOT in Allah we trust, It is time that we stopped catering to the faiths of other people. Yes, they can have a place of worship and pursue their religion, but we should not to have to call Christmas a winter holiday. it is Christmas and if they don't like it ...more »

Most European countries are Christian and many of their laws are based on the Christian faith. They do not change their way of life for immigrants and neither should Americans. If it offends a Muslim to see Christmas decorations then they should leave. How far do you think Christians would get if they immigrated to the Mid-East and demanded that the early morning call to prayers was too noisey and offended them and wanted it stopped? Think about it!. Why are we rolling over and allowing foreigners to dictate how Americans should live and display their faith?

  Subsidies

  Are we crazy or is it just our politians? Why, why are we paying farmers not to farm or to destroy crops? Why are we paying tobacco farmers not to grow tobacco? The cost of food is skyrocketing. Stop all subsidies and make farmers actually grow a crop. Lets cut the cost of wheat, corn, soybeans, etc. Get them to convert to truck farms for all our fresh produce. Lets stop importing produce from foreign countries ...more »

  The cost of food is skyrocketing. Stop all subsidies and make farmers actually grow a crop.   Our welfare system is out of control. We are supposed to be a democracy, yet we appoach welfare as though we were a socialist country. Unmarried women on welfare with children should be required to submit to sterilization if they want to receive benefits. Men fathering children who are not supporting them should be required to have a vasectimy, Section 8 housing should be stopped (again very socialist). It is time ...more »

It is time for the working class people to stop paying for freeloaders to not work, have children, be given a free car to drive, a place to live, and have all the things that hard working people have, while the welfare recipents sit on their rear ends and laugh at us.

  Illegal Immigration

  It is time to keep Americans safe by stopping illegal immigraion. We have no idea who is in this country and what percentage of the illegal people here are terrorists, waiting for the right time to strike a blow. Our borders need to be CLOSED. The Mexican border must be sealed as well as the Canadian border. Not only are we putting ourselves at risk by not doing so, we are allowing illegals to take jobs away from ...more »

  It is time to keep Americans safe by stopping illegal immigraion. We have National Guard units, Reserve Units and active duty Military. The military should be patroling our borders and enforcing our immigration laws. They should be instructed to arrest and/or shoot to kill any person attempting to illegally cross our borders. If we incarcerate an immigrant we should bill their country of origin for the cost of keeping them in jail/prison. All illegal aliens should be sent back to their country., We should not allow any illegal in this country to stay. My husband immigrated to the US several years after we were married. We spent a small fortune jumping through hoops and paying fees to prove he wasn't a terrorist (and he was a British citizen). Britian is supposed to one of our allies but their citizens are on a waiting list to immigrate here while we roll out the red carpet for non English speaking illegals who are receiving welfare, medical and social security

  benefts and bankrupting this country. My reommendation is to copy the imigration laws of Australia. We can not afford to allow the present approach to illegals and immigrants to continue.

  Language Problems

  Stop providing language options on documents, telephones, signs, school classes, etc. This is America and the language we speak is English. Immigrants should be required to learn english and pass a language test within six months of arrivcing here. Other countries do not bend over backward for eveyone who enters their country.   I lived in Germany for three years and had to learn the German language. There was NO push one for German, push 2, for French, push 3 for English. We are waisting money on services which are not required, money that could be better spend on services for our english speaking citizens.

  EEO

  The current EEO system is geared, for the most part, to people filing a complaint based on their race. I think it is time that the categories of discrimination be revamped and race should be removed as a category. We are all Americans and wanting special priviledges because of your race is not relevant. Bullying should be an added category, which could easily replace the race issue. I believe that denial of promotion would be a category which should be added as well.There is far too much abuse of the EEO program by people filing race complaints when race is really not the issue, but it gets more attention than other categories.

  I agree that a national sales tax would be an improved method of securing revenue for the government ,from private citizens, and save incredible amounts of money by eliminating the need for most IRS employees. However, I believe that corporations (not sole propriators) should be leved a flat tax based on their gross earnings, in addition to paying a national sales tax.. This would simplfy the filing process for them ...more »

  I agree that a national sales tax would be an improved method of securing revenue for the government ,from private citizens, and save incredible amounts of money by eliminating the need for most IRS employees. However, I believe that corporations (not sole propriators) should be leved a flat tax based on their gross earnings, in addition to paying a national sales tax.. This would simplfy the filing process for them and eliminate a considerable amount of fraud since expenses would not be taken into account when calculating their amount of tax due. Revenue agents would only be required to investigate gross income for unreported income and underreported income.

  Companys who move operations out of this country, to avoid taxes and hire cheap labor, need to be stopped. They should be required to pay income tax on all foreign earnings (American citizens living overseas pay tax on their foreign earned income). They should be denied deducting expenses incurred in a foreign country, therefore they will be paying tax on their gross earnings rather than net. This will ensure that ...more »

They should be required to pay income tax on all foreign earnings (American citizens living overseas pay tax on their foreign earned income). They should be denied deducting expenses incurred in a foreign country, therefore they will be paying tax on their gross earnings rather than net. This will ensure that their foreign operations are no longer profitable, that the US collects considerably more tax revenue and it will encourgage the return of operations to the US. A result of this will be a return in this country to manufacturing everything from steel to clothing. US citizens will be working again (cutting unemployment), we will have products to export (increase trade) and become more competitive by reducing union powers to escalate salaries to ridiculous levels.which make our products too expensive for foreign countries as well as US citizens.
