Make every organization (bank, car manufacturers, etc.) that received stimulus bail-out funds and then gave bonuses and made large profits pay back every cent they received to sustain them. The American people are tired of getting the shaft to support everyone else.

Make Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae pay back the stimulus loan. If the executives of these organizations can receive large bonuses for poor performance, then they can certainly afford to pay back the American people for the loan.

Stop funding Amtrak. If it is a viable means of transportation, then it will be able to support itself.

Stop funding National Public Radio. They've already demonstrated that they don't represent everyone, and with today's technology they're not a primary source for information. Also, they have established that they can survive on their own.

Eliminate FDA and place their functions related to cosmetics and drugs under Health & Human Services, and food inspection under a new Agency (Food Safety Administration) dedicated only to food inspection.

Immediately stop the program of Agencies having to spend all the money budgeted to them to keep their current level of funds provided. This is a waste of money, and encourages frivilous spending by higher ups to continue justifying high budgets.

Stop providing 8 hours of annual leave as hiring incentives for new employees. Not only is this a violation of federal law which requires 15 years of service to earn 8 hours of annual leave, it is insulting to those of us who have served our time to earn that amount of leave. Not only is this a violation of federal law which requires 15 years of service to earn 8 hours of annual leave, it is insulting to those of us who have served our time to earn that amount of leave. FSIS has devasted and demoralized its current PHVs by offering this incentive to new hires, in addition to their $80,000.00 bonus money. Several good and highly experienced veterinarians have left because of this. That seems to defeat the entire purpose of hiring incentives if your more experienced and knowledgeable vets leave due to decreased morale.

Select someone from the certificate created for a job opening. It is a waste of time, resources and money to select someone who didn't make the certificate for a position.

If an Agency is doing training at a particular hotel, always have the Agency complete a purchase order for the hotel rooms. This would save the government a lot of money in hotel taxes.

Make everyone's retirement annuity rate 1% like those of us in the non-law enforcement civilian service. It's not fair that law enforcement receive a 1.25% rate (they're already paid more for hazardous duty), military receive a 1.75% rate (love our troops but they also receive hazard duty pay), Congress members and their staff receive a 2% rate. Make all government employees (except President & VP) have the same insurance options as those of us at the bottom. There shouldn't be better options for those at GS-13 and above than for those of us in the field. Also, no government employee should receive free health insurance. Eliminate all of the czars within the government. If these tasks can't be performed within a specific Agency, then it is clear that there needs to be more consolidation of Agencies and reduction of government overseers.

Do as much in-house (use of Government employees) to handle work within Agencies through InterAgency Agreements and employee loaning. This would decrease the need for contractors, and provide employees with new opportunities to grow their skills to improve efficiency within the government.

Have all federal agencies use the USPS to ship everything possible through Priority Flat Rate shipping, unless it is absolutely necessary to use Overnight. Even overnight delivery is cheaper with USPS than the other carriers. This could save USPS, and provide a tremendous savings for federal agencies.

Create one Agency with the sole mission being food inspection. This would eliminate duplication across the multiple Agencies who currectly handle some form of food inspection, reduce confusion, provide stronger protections for food safety, and eliminate the current conflict of interest of Agencies who promote and police the same product.

End all ethanol subsidies. Ethanol is without a doubt one of the worst "green" ideas ever. Ethanol takes up more forest by having to clear-cut for fields to grow corn, a crop that sucks the nutrients out of the soil--ask any farmer. It gets lower miles-per-gallon than gas, and takes up crops that should be used to feed people and animals.

End all farm subsidies that pay American farms to destroy their products so we have to import those same products.

Create one centralized Agency for all food safety inspection, who's only mission is food inspection. This would eliminate duplication of services, and provide for a more thorough inspection of product. It would also eliminate the current conflict of interest in Agencies who currently have one branch that provides inspection and another that is to promote the very product we are to police.

Consolidate all export and import inspection into the Federal Trade Commission. This would create a central handler of all exports and imports with a standardized form for all paperwork, which would reduce confusion and duplication of services.
