Reduce the number of political appointees!!!!
Eliminate the number of PA... There are way too many. For instance, Labor should have one for each sub agency.

Our government should tax imports made by children or goods made in countries with relaxed child labor laws. US companies should be fined for hiring children. People are only interested in buying the cheapest products, but this is at the expense of a child's wellbeing.

There have been a number of positions added to my agency for no reason. I am even a Democrat, but this is ridiculous and wasteful. For instance, we hired 5 GS-13 recruitment coordinators right before a hiring freeze. In addition, most of these coordinators do not know federal hiring laws and their duties are already preformed by HR Specialists. Another example, 5 GS-15 positions were created for no reasons. These employees do nothing... I understand that everyone should have a good job, but they should still have to do work. If they are not doing work, then their position should be abolished or downgraded.

I work in an office with 27 people. We have 2 employees under 40. The average age is 55. This workforce is way too old!!! Many of these employees that are 60+ have no idea how to use technology and are resistant to change. Many of them do not want to or do not have the capability to learn to use technology. What is the point of giving them smartphones when they keep them in their desk drawers or spend hours trying ...more »

I have heard my office referred to as “the morgue” or “the nursing home.” I do not find this funny because I am constantly picking up the slack of this workforce that has not been forced to adapt. In the private sector, they have to compete. In the government, they just linger…

The Department of Labor has at least 8!!! Some are run by contractors and some are federally managed... There is no need for each sub agency within each department to have it's own IT infrastructure. There are some many redundancies and it’s very wasteful. I do not believe anyone in the federal government has heard of economies of scale….
