FAR Clause 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Federal Hires, goes into every solicitation & contract subject to the Service Contract Act. However, the clause serves no useful purpose, since any competent contractor wouldn't rely on this to guage what to pay their employees. The clause has outlived its usefulness

Use $1 and $2 coins, and stop printing bills for these denominations. The European Community's smallest paper currency is the 5 euro note, and they have over 400 million people in their system. Coins last a lot longer than paper notes (18 months for an average $1 bill) and are more sanitary too, so reducing paper currency would not only save on printing costs but reduce the transmission of pathogens.
