Example: Climate and weather research is done by various agencies within the government with less coordination and efficiency than. Why should NASA, DOE, DOD, NSF, DOC, (there maybe are more DOA?) all doing the same general work . While all these agencies and others have need for climate and weather prediction for various reasons, it doesn't make sense that they all have their own researchers and supercomputers.

Social Security was set up so that we pay for our parents retirement and our children pay for us. Take away the disincentives and stigma for having children, and add incentives (not welfare) for having children. Social Security was set up so that we pay for our parents retirement and our children pay for us. Take away the disincentives and stigma for having children, and add incentives (not welfare) for having children. Maybe one of the incentives should be that what we receive in social security should partially be based on the number of children we have. For the long term, not having a reasonable number of children is ruinous for our society and our economy as we have witnessed in Europe and are starting to experience in the US. Our citizens not having children cannot be compensated for by immigration only, as we are also experiencing.
