Make a standing rule for all government offices that if it is not in use- turn it off. When employees leave at the end of the day by just turning off their computer monitors could save taxpayers and the government a good deal on electricity.

The way welfare is set up in many states, many families are not able to work if they need to continue receiving welfare checks. Many of these families can't make enough to support their families by working and welfare send the message that if you have a job you don't qualify for welfare. Instead let's revamp welfare - give families who are trying to be productive responsible citizens by working, financial assistance. ...more »
The way welfare is set up in many states, many families are not able to work if they need to continue receiving welfare checks. Many of these families can't make enough to support their families by working and welfare send the message that if you have a job you don't qualify for welfare. Instead let's revamp welfare - give families who are trying to be productive responsible citizens by working, financial assistance. With the price of gas, food and rent minimium wage just isn't enough for families to get by on. So why not help these people and stop paying families that are willing to work.

Many states currently have tax free weekends before schools start. What about expanding this to include some sort of incentive for buying American made products! A tax rebate or tax credit may be just what could inspire Amoricant to purchase products from our own country.

Limit federal disaster assistance to non insurable items. After a disaster millions of dollars are given to individuals and households that are not insured. Are we penalizing responsible citizens/ FEMA should limit disaster assistance to items that are non insurable. If an item is insurable whether insured or not don't pay for it. Let's strive to make our citizens more responsible. How many times are we awwisting ...more »
