Increase the price of TN and I-94
We charge a mere $50.00 per TN for a period of 3 years. The price used to be $50.00 for a 1 year period, we've tripled the amount of time but never adjusted the price for a TN. At a minimal, a charge of $150.00 is understandble for a 3 year period. Also, increase the price of I-94's to $10.00. $6.00 for a 6 month stay is far below par, $1.00 a month. Also, increase the price of I-94's to $10.00. $6.00 for a 6 month stay is far below par, $1.00 a month. A $10.00 isn't going to stop anyone from coming to visit the United States. Even a $10.00 per month charge is something to be explored.
I also believe that the U.S Government should start limiting the number of TN Visa's it issues on a yearly basis. The Canadian Government makes it completely more difficult for a U.S Citizen to work in Canada. We give jobs that can easily be filled by a U.S citizen, ie. qualtiy engineer, RN, etc, that hurt our economy. These jobs should be filled by a U.S citizen first, and therefore, they would be paying taxes on their homes in the U.S, purchasing more goods in the U.S and therefore generate more revinue for the United States. Our economy is to low to be handing these jobs away so easily.
