Rating Contractors on Service
There should be an Angie's list for government contractors. There are several bad contractors who float from agency to agency failing to produce or providing a poor product but we don't track that or warn other federal agencies. There should be an Angie's list for government contractors. There are several bad contractors who float from agency to agency failing to produce or providing a poor product but we don't track that or warn other federal agencies. This is also true for leased office space.
The federal government needs to develop an Agnie's list like web site so people can be warned about these bad contractors. This would improved efficiency and effective by eliminating bad contractors and making contractors accountable. This would also prevent horror stories where contractor fulful the letter of the law but not the spirit of the contract. For example one company was contracted with the army to delivery a missile on a certain date. They delivered parts for a missile but it was not assembled but delivering the parts fulfulled hte letter of the contract but not the spirit.
