Each year employees are sent to remote sites for training. Each office has a pool of employees that can serve as great trainers. Having two or three, “Training Specialists” in the office would limit the amount of outside travel needed for employees to receive mandatory training. If each office had a few employees certified to provide accurate training specially well trained in research and procedures, the office would work more cohesively and will always have someone within their local office that can serve as an expert. This is not only a great saving idea but also a great way to encourage employees to work more effectively and efficiently. Training can be provided via video, telephone, or writing to each “Training Specialist” and they will create the training sessions for their office. This would not only help the employees work together but we would gear away from the usual response of “this was not covered in training”. Each office would have a specialist that can consult with fellow trainers and have a network of support to respond to any questions or concerns. Each office faces unique needs and having someone that can work around the schedule in the office will proof to be more effective and limit the impact that training would have on the day to day activities.
