Simplify Conservation Programs
NRCS could simplify the number of conservation programs we administer and group them. They could be grouped under 2 groups with one set of forms, ranking procedures and cost lists for each. NRCS could simplify the number of conservation programs we administer and group them. They could be grouped under 2 groups with one set of forms, ranking procedures and cost lists for each.
One should be an Easement Program to cover WRP, FRPP, GRP, etc. The other should be Conservation Programs to include EQIP, CSP, WHIP, etc.
Right now we have a multitude of different forms, cost lists, ranking procedures, etc. that is taking too much administrative time to function efficiently. CSP and EQIP especially, could be grouped into one conservation program.
