2 comments for Idea: TravelAllow travelers to use local carriers and reserve their own flights. The cost savings would be huge and we focus too much on Fed Traveler which has excessive flight costs just to keep us from being bumpted off of flights.

Add your comment for Idea: WorkloadStop tracking so much data because the expense and efficiency goes out the window with tracking and trending. It's a good quality measurement but it's not intended to be used excessively. People have to manipulate the system due to tracking and trending because we have to get the job done while someone else sit's back and looks at the graphs......look into logistics for example

1 comment for Idea: CommunicationEliminate voice mail in all government facilities UNLESSS it can be monitored and all calls are returned in a timely manner. Also, when forwarding a caller to another extension, make sure someone answers the extension before the handoff is complete.

1 comment for Idea: Veterans Health CareProvide all veterans or at least all combat veterans with a government funded insurance card and allow them to seek out their own health care providers. The VHA has become so big it impairs efficient treatment. Furthermore, if the VHA budget allocates over 50% of the funding toward medication costs....this is a red flag that we are over-medicating and under-treating our combat veterans.
