  Reduce National Debt & Discourage Espionage at the same time.

  There are countries who we owe large amounts of money to who use that money to pay foreign agents to collect our information. What if we monetarily charged each country every time someone stole technology or critical information on their behalf? It is not illogical- compromises in the Science & Technology field cost us millions of dollars in research each year, maybe more. The fees could be deducted from what we owe ...more »

  There are countries who we owe large amounts of money to who use that money to pay foreign agents to collect our information. What if we monetarily charged each country every time someone stole technology or critical information on their behalf? It is not illogical- compromises in the Science & Technology field cost us millions of dollars in research each year, maybe more. The fees could be deducted from what we owe that country. This may eventually discourage aggressive collection once it begins to affect their bottom line.

  Close the Indian Reservations

  Get rid of the Reservations and main-stream the Native Americans into society, Give them back their self respect and pride. Let them know that they are “equal” to all of us and they are as smart and capable of supporting themselves as everybody else. By giving them everything including homes, schooling, medical, etc., etc., we are instilling in them that they “can’t” be functioning Americans without our help. They ...more »

  Raise the Estate Tax to 90%

  Inherited wealth kills capitalism. A capitalist society is one in which, if you work hard, and produce high quality work, you will get paid well... If you don't, you won't. While the country is deep in debt, the people we look to first to help us solve this problem, should be, the people creating it...   Inherited wealth kills capitalism. A capitalist society is one in which, if you work hard, and produce high quality work, you will get paid well... If you don't, you won't. While the country is deep in debt, the people we look to first to help us solve this problem, should be, the people creating it... People who don't work, and inherit enough money to survive and thrive forever. The estate tax doesn't even begin to be charged unless you inherit more than 2.5 million dollars from your family. Capitalism protects earned wealth, and it protects people that want to help their family have a better life than they did. It does not protect unearned wealth, it does not protect European style arristocratic inherited wealth. You are not born, having done all the work you need to do. No one would be happy if they were born that way. Raising the estate tax to 90%, on people being paid more than 2.5 million dollars to be born, would generate enough revenue to slowly but surely pay down the national debt. It's that simple. You can't be against welfare, and for lowering the estate tax, they create the same thing, unearned wealth. Unearned wealth is the enemy. It makes everyone miserable.

  Wipe out Huge National Debt with 25 cents tax on bank ATM fees

  Wipe out huge national debt quickly and painlessly by assessing banks a 25 cents tax on the gross fees they charge customers for EACH ATM withdrawal transaction. The 25 cents would be remitted electronically and instantly to the government to service the National Debt. Billions of transactions of this type are transacted annually.   The 25 cents would be remitted electronically and instantly to the government to service the National Debt. Billions of transactions of this type are transacted annually. In light of the billions of dollars in aid that were given to the banks by the government, this would also be a way for them to pay back the generosity that was afforded to them.

  This money would be explicitly earmarked by law expressly to service the National Debt - for no other purpose.
