Not everyone can telework because their jobs require physcial or security based activities. For many of the other jobs out there though, the ones where a person sits in front of a desk all day, positions can be easily maintained and often improved with telework.
I think there should be incentives for teleworking, and those who do not meet a measurable standard of success while teleworking shouldn't be allowed to.
Think of the money that can be saved though for not having to provide a full time place for every employee to work from.It would save money for them commuting as welll, injecting more money into the economy and reducing our independance on oil.
