Wind Turbine and Solar Panels - Green Energy for Feds Buildings

I agree to have my idea, not my name or information, posted online.:
Yes

Wind turbine and solar power plant for Government offices owns by Government agencies and / or GSA and contracted out to Government agencies. This can also be applied to Military and other general buildings.

The implementation of Solar Panels and or Wind Turbine could be of benefits to the organization, the installation would be an example of future enterprise or local business to the area, military, and other federal buildings.

The Gov office could set the example by assign a pilot program especially to a NEW CONTRUCTION offices and or business. This pilot can be set and studies can be used to compare conventional usage of energy versus new Wind Turbine and / or Solar Panel.

I have seemed the Corp of Engineer along with the local agency organization conducting and planning 2 or 3 years ago having the implementation of outdated R22 refrigerant (this Freon is being banded by the EPA effective 2008) versus Eco-Friendly R410a.

Additionally:

Military building can benefit from this in the long run instead of warhead expenses; by diverting some of the tomahawk and other missiles strategy cost to this Solar and Wind Turbine energy. It’ll pay back.

  1. wind and solar are mother nature source of energy supply.

  2. Wind, solar, and other energy sources should be incorporated into the energy plan for government building as a supplement to current energy sources until it can be improved becuase we all know it's not currently efficent enough as a sole source.

  3. This will not make the government more efficient. Wind and solar power cost more per kilowatt than coal & oil. I agree it would be greener, but it would COST gov't money - not save it.

  4. My recommendation is to have a “Pilot” to a hybrid building (combine conventional energy source too of course) testing and studies can be submitted for optimization and improvement of solar and turbines energy source. Coal and Oil will completely perforate the ozone layers and deplete the Polar zone causing the planet to overheat.

My daughter is an environmental engineer and Plan and Policies student; she has tested all this since she was in her Sophomore High School. She was recognized in high school and at the State Science Competition providing experimental proves of these issues and now is about to prove it over again.

Your future generation would perish, for God sake, let start thinking outside the box and start doing some testing at some Government or Joe-the-plumber building facility for the reality of saving the this God-blessed-Planet.

  5. other comment -- The army (TARDAC) in Hawaii has created a micro-grid with solar energy to charge electric vehicles. They can use the microgrid to back-up 3 buildings up to 72 hours. Pretty ingenius.

  6. This is good touchy feely, but not good to make the US more productive. It is a great way to squander tax dollars and require more taxes, but a bad way to help the country become competitive.
