In order to assist welfare reform, we must be sane in our approach to getting folks off welfare. Welfare should not be reduced by the gross income of a recipient trying to take on part time or full time work. Welfare should be reduced by no more than the net pay of the part time or full time work. Actually, even giving a bonus of $5 dollars or more per month a welfare recipient actually works part time or full time would be beneficial to them gaining zero job related experiance.
