Right Size Gov't not necessarily Downsize

We currently have many inefficient agencies. First we need to evasluate the jobs of the agencies and the employees in those agencies. Redistribute employees among the agencies to the most efficient breakdown. Then downsize by RIF to keep the to performers and remove the sludge at the bottom.

  1. Yes, agree, we have way too many people with no jobs. I say start cutting A&AS by 75% first. You would see how quickly DoD gets efficient. Cut travel and force the use of VTC and phones. Reimburse actual costs for travel - folks are getting rich as they make up trips to go on! Government need to smartin' up and start running their offices like a business!

  2. I don't know what agency you work for but my action officers aren't getting rich with official travel. If anything it is costing them as much if not more. I do think we need to push the VTC for more meetings but some travel will always be necessary.
