Results Only Work Environment (ROWE)

Yes

Evaluates employees on performance, and not time spent in the office.

The Office of Personnel Management is piloting a Results-Only Work Environment (ROWE) for 400 employees.

Promote a pilot program for every Federal Agency.

    Agree! ROWE is the future of knowledge work and is already providing great benefits to companies such as Best Buy and Sun Microsystems. I am inclined to say that this should be mandatory, and that an external third party, just like in the OPM study, evaluates the programs in each agency.
