Reduce Wait Time for Retirement Pay

Yes

With the growing number of FERS employees retiring or becoming eligible to retire, a system for checks and balances needs to be addressed to ensure retirees begin receiving their full entitlements within the first six months of retirement. This would limit the need for retirees to seek new employment and/or outside help.

    Over 20 years ago, it was known a lot of retires would be hitting the system - yet no one prepared! OPM needs to get this corrected ASAP & some SES folks need to be booted as they did not prepare for this and FAILED to do the job!!!
