Each Member of Congress should be required to use the Internet alone for campaigning for office once elected the first time. That will take the teeth out of lobbyists and special interests that have them in their sites the minute they take office. Millions of dollars must be raised by members for their re-election, there is bound to be trouble with special interests which write the check. Use the internet so the barest amount is spent. If I want to know, I'll look it up.
