Take all Budget approving and Congress officials and put them in one room. 1. Put all of Congress in one room, lock the doors, give them food, water, porta potties, and a cot to sleep on. 2. Make all of congress stay in the room until an agreement is reached. White smoke is for passed budget, black smoke is for a non-passed budget. 3. The food is reduced each day until an agreement is reached. Does this procedure sound familiar to you, will for Catholics it should. This is how a new Pope is elected. If Congressional personal are in there long enough I bet a budget will be passed pretty quick. This plan will cut down on the time spent on Government offices pre planning for a Government shout down and wasted time spent at the end of year budget planning. If we don't show up for work and do our jobs were let go. Maybe the same thing should apply here. Words for thought.
