    One thing not having a disagree button does is highlight all of the people who are at "0" thus letting everyone know that they didn't vote for their own idea.

    As the administrator of this site can see there are many of us with the same Idea. If we implimented it now there would be far fewer repeate ideas on this forum.VOTE I AGREE for each of the DISAGREE posts!

    Disagree is the only way one can actually TUNE the suggestion someone else had made. The subject of a comment could be made broader or narrower - not a neew idea but could make the discussion far more useful.

    The purpose of the site is to get ideas on what is or isn't working in the Federal Agency we work for. It's not our job to decide what is or isn't a good idea.

    If something comes to mind I add it. Some are more commentary and several are ideas I submitted from last year. The key here is peer review - if it is good it can rise up and may get attention.

    A "Disagree" button will give you a better picture as to whether a particular idea has a broader base of support or not from your audience.

    I think that there should be a disagree button, but instead of decreasing the vote count, this site should show both disagree and agree votes. This will allow hotly debated topics to remain in the spotlight.
