Yes

How about finally holding the "employee(s)" accountable for their wrongdoing instead of implementing new processes and regulations that just add to more bureaucratic BS all in an effort to give the appearance that the Government has crossed its T's and dotted its I's in addressing the wrongdoing. In the end, it inevitably costs the Government more money because 10 people now have to be involved in the process to accomplish something "following rules and regulations" versus the 2 it should really take to accomplish the same thing. (Administrative OH). We see it all the time, just add another level of micromanagement, additional paperwork, additional approvals and slap everyone instead of holding the individual(s) accountable. God forbid we just slap the individual and be done with it. I'd bet if people were held accountable the example itself would be enough to correct the wrongdoing.
