A Trillion Dollar waste - WELFARE,section8 ,low income housing

I agree to have my idea, not my name or information, posted online.:
Yes

http://www.hud.gov/complaints/fraud_waste.cfm -section 8 and low income housing encourages dependency and complacent behavior. Why work when you can get a house for practically free and keep collecting entitlements. ILLLEGAL squatting and unauthrized people live with a legal tenet often and this is a criminal offense since changes in family size and income are required to be reported. the section 8 system and low income housing system is a complete failure which has drained the US economy of trillions of dollars and maintained tenets in social and financial bondage. there is no incentive to leave section 8 or low income housing. why work or attend college when you can get housing for free or low cost. This encouranges drug abuse and out of wedlock births and tenet abuse by housing squatters and unauthorized people living in the units. section 8 and low income housing also reduce local taxpayers home values and create blighted neighborhoods with loud music and cars with dark windows and dirty messy yards often with dirt as a yard.. SECTION 8 and LOW INCOME HOUSING TENETS NEED TIME LIMITS of 1 to 3 years then they must be evicted from the units since they are living on free enititlements and have no incentive to Raise themselves out of the free benefits. WAKE UP AMERICA! WE ARE TRILLIONS IN DEBT and giving away FREE BENEFITS . remember that all secion 8 and low income housing authoritys are TAX FREE and you pay the costs of educating the people and their rents are susidized and food and insurance are subsidized and paid for. its like the midlle and upper class is paying triple to live, we all have to pay for everyone else.. its not fair..http://www.hud.gov/complaints/fraud_waste.cfm

  1. WRITE YOUR LAWMAKERS TO REQUEST A TIMELIMITS AND A END TO WELFARE AND END LOW INCOME HOUSING AND END SECTION 8. THIS WILLS AVE TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN GOVERNMENT AND TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN ENTITLEMENTS WHICH ONLY WORK TO DRAIN THE HONEST TAXPAYER AND SUBSIDIZE AND ENCOURAGE DEPENDENCE AND COMPLACENT BEHAVIOR. THE BOTTOM LINE IS WHY WORK WHEN YOU CAN GET GOVERNMENT MONEY FOR FREE? WHY BOTHER RAISING YOURSELF UP WHEN YOU CAN GET FREE GOVERNMENT HOUSING AND FREE MONEY? THESE AREAS ARE NO HEALTHY FOR KIDS TO GROW UP IN TO SEE THAT LIFESTYLE.. COME ON AMERICAN WE HAVE TO LEAD THE WORLD IN HUMAN RIGHTS AND DIGNITY AND BECOME NUMBER ONE AGAIN. STOP HOLDING PEOPLE IN A CYCLE OF WELFARE BONDAGE WHICH THEY CAN NEVER ESCAPE FROM. please.

  2. Subsitute Rich Guy on every line of the above. If poor people cost us trillions, what on earth do rich people cost us? Do rich people have free housing? With enough savy accountants they do.

Don't worry about Low Income Housing, worry about

High Income Housing. Don't worry about poor peoples' complacent behavior. Who could be more complacent than a 5th generation Rich Guy whose family never served, or suffered, or waited for anything. They have Entitlement--they are entitled to a lavish lifestyle subsidized by working Americans. "Stop holding people in a cycle" of: Rich.

They got us right where they want us.

  3. Agree 100% with comment number #2. The RICH who has it all never endured suffering, social failure from the onset of life. Therefore, the RICH would not understand those on welfare dependency. When our 42nd President attempted to reform social welfare, opposition convoluted the process from the start so it would fail. Why, of course fear of a change in social stratification. Most people want the same as other have, which is having a home and a peace of mind. The solution to this concern is equal and proper education for all. No tangible skills guarantee a nonproductive life style.

  4. My comment is regarding the main idea. There are people on Section 8 and Low Rent housing trying to get rehabilitated but there are no programs in place where they can be identified as willing to work and for assistance from that point. If they go to the Workforce they are not provided a caseworker who will work with them or assist them to find a job. However, if someone gets on unemployment they are assigned a casemanager and everything is done to assist them to get a job.

  5. excellent point...I wonder if the poster is correct about a trillion dollars going to low income housing and the rest. A trillion is a thousand millions. Is it really a trillion? But again, we are dancing around issues to think that stuff we've had around for decades is actually responsible for these kinds of problems. We have been trying to help those less fortunate for 60 years, sometimes successfully, but does it drag us down by a trillion? Most people are begining to realize it is TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH of the last administration (and this administration's cave) that's responsible for this horrendous debt. Two and three foreign wars might be more of a problem than subsidized housing. Get back money the rich took in over the last 8 years. Then, when we've got that back, we can go after those pesky poor people.

Rich people have us right where they want us---arguing about poor people. That way we aren't looking at them and they can pass their "earned" wealth to their future generations.
